              Tomato is strictly a fruit, because it is an overly with seeds. However, since it is not sweet and is eaten along with the main course of a meal, it is classified as a vegetable. Most tomatoes are picked before fully ripe. Tomatoes benefit the heart and keep blood pressure in control. Tomato is grown from the seeds of other tomatoes. Tomatoes need plenty of warm sunshine, but not more than 35℃ . The soil has to be rich in organic matter and should have sufficient calcium. Tomato plants need adequate supply of water per day. Tomatoes take about two to three months to grow, They have to be picked before they are fully ripe.

             Potato is a tuber crop. Potatoes contain resistant starch and fibred.

        Potato is grown from the 'eyes' of other potatoes. Potatoes grow in cool climate. Potatoes grow in average soil. The soil should be fertile and well - drained. Potatoes take about four to five month's to grow, They have to be picked before they are fully ripe. Potatoes are dug out of the soil.

    The Indian farmer

       The Indian farmer lives a hard life indeed. He toils hard each day, getting up early in the morning and going to bed late at night. He takes the bullocks to the field each day. In summer he ploughs the field and then awaits the rains. Just as the rains set in he begins sowing. He reaps the harvest when the crops are ready. Nowadays the farmer uses modern equipment for ploughing, sowing and harvesting and uses his modern agricultural know-how to improve his skills in farming Government also provides them with many facilities. The farmer's wife as well as his children help him in his work. Many a time the farmer finds himself in a debt-trap. Moreover, middlemen obtain his produce during the harvest at a very low price. To improve the life of the farmer, the government should make available easy-to-get and low-interest rate loans to him. Likewise, the authorities should ensure that he gets reasonable price for his produce, Untimely rains hailstorms and drought cause the threat of widespread famine especially in Maharashtra. Government should provide them with every possible relief during such miserable, tragic conditions. More importantly, the government should provide necessities like water, electricity and education facilities in the village to improve the quality of farmer's life.

  Our Emotional

            Human naturel has many different aspects. Sometimes, a person gets very angry; at other times, he is ready to forget and forgive easily. At times, he is jealous; at times, he is loving. Sometimes, he acts selfishly, but sometimes he is willing to make a sacrifice for others and comes forwards to help. Anger, joy, sorrow, jealously disappointment, fear, etc. are all emotions.

Coping with our Emotions :  Just as man is able to think, he is also emotional. We should be able to strike a balance between our thoughts and emotions. When someone hurts us, we feel sad. This is natural; however, we should know how bad to feel about it. If someone does something wrong, we get angry; however, we must not lose our temper. It is natural to desire something but we must not be greedy for it. If we think properly, we can control our emotions. Emotional adjustment involves coping with your emotions, being able to control them and expressing them in a reasonable manner. When we learn to cope with our emotions, our personality becomes balanced, our ability to understand others increases and we can overcome adverse conditions. Then we becomes free from faults such as blaming others unnecessarily, calling them names and not being able to tolerate their success. We become happy and our ability to relate to others improves. We learn not to be stubborn. Anger is an emotion just like happiness or sadness. All of us get angry about something at some point of time. We get angry if something does not happen according to our wishes, or if we are insulted. Similarly, We also get angry if we see someone being ill-treated. If we get angry very often, or if we cannot control our anger, it can have adverse effects on our body and mind. We become short-tempered and stubborn. Our attitude of co-operation and understanding decreases and we hurt others. We face consequences such as headaches, loss of sleep and dullness.
